1. Form

JPEG can save about 16.7 million kinds of colors, often used to save photos. But beyond that, almost no place uses JPEG. Selecting the image format we should synthetically consider its use range, as the below details for color, transparency, cartoon and so on. We can compare every parameter by Photoshop or Fireworks Export Wizard. The choice standard is that under the premise of guaranteeing acceptable picture quality, the document should be small as far as possible.

RGB mode should be used to create images, not the CMYK mode for printing. Do not take into account browser security color, because almost all people no longer use 8-bit display. GIF and PNG both support transparency, but not the same way. GIF is simply to set one or several color completely transparent, and it does not take into account the transparency of neighboring gradient. This means that if a significant change in background color (or originally contained several contrasting colors), and the areas border on the transparent parts will not be a smooth transition, apperaing a clear dividing line.
