The monitors of the earlier computers supported lower resolutions and the width of the screen was usually 14-15 inches. Along with the software technology the hardware technology has also evolved a lot. This improvement has increases the resolutions of the monitors to such an extent that most of the monitors now have resolution of 768 pixels or 10204 pixels. The monitors that are available today usually have a broader screen width. When Photoshop is being used for website, the designer should test the website on monitors with different resolutions as well as different screen width. This is the best way to make sure about how the website is going to be seen by the visitors.

Paper as against web site:

As mentioned earlier there is a big difference between the two. While the website designing can be made to interact with the visitor the print media cannot do so. The shelf life of the print media advertisement is much less than that of the website. One can buy things through the website and transfer the money through the internet. This is not possible in case of print media. A web site can have images as well as videos of earlier buyers. The website can have animations too. The paper cannot present video or audio messages. When considering return on investment the web design has an edge above the print media.
