Losing weight depends on two important components: self examination of your eating habits and the way you view food. To do that, you can keep a list of what you eat throughout the day and why you eat certain kinds of food.

It is also good to know your diet killers, be it foods or snacks and avoid them.

A visit to your primary care physician for a thorough checkup should be first on your list to discover any health problems that might defeat your diet plan.
