You should exercise. Exercise is essential thing for weight loss, you might have a great diet but with out exercise you won't burn the calories and fat. You should do cardio, running or high intensity bicycling 3 or 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes. If you are to weak or too lazy for these exercises, do low intensity bicycling and walk fast for at least 1 hour a day - the more, the better.

Drink lots of water. Yes, drinking lots of water really helps you lose weight, it increased metabolism and your body burns calories because it needs to reproduce water. I would suggest to drink 5-7 liters of water every day. Don't drink too much in one time, because drinking more than 1 liter of fluid water gallon per hour can lead to water intoxication and you can even die. If you have some diseases, the water you can drink could be even less than 3 liters.

Work out. Working out will make your muscles grow, and the more muscles you have, the more calories your body will burn to maintain it self. Also, a good work out session will burn lots of calories. Many woman are scared to lift weights because they are scared to get huge muscles, but it won't happen unless you use steroids.

Have realistic goals. You should aim for 1-2 pound loss every week. More than 2 pounds a week is not a good sign and it means that you weight loss isn't steady, and there is high possibility that fat could come back.
