Well Thought Out Use Of Promotional Gifts Can Really Increase Your Profile

Quite often promotional gifts are used at times when you least expect them to appear

, but the results of using them are usually well thought out and can have a very positive impact on their company.

Last Friday evening our local High School was holding a Christmas Fete. We went last year and it is mainly small local charities with stalls and local play groups trying to raise some cash by doing raffles and guess the name of the teddy bear. So we decided to pop along again this year to show our support to these local groups.

When we arrived there were two ladies stood at the entrance giving away Free cotton shopper bags that were donated by the local building society, and were of course printed up with their details.

These promotional gifts came in handy as when you went around the hall buying or winning items you could simply pop them into the printed cotton shopper bags without the need for your wife to try and fit them in her over crowded hand bag.

There were around 80 odd people in the room when we were there but it I would of guessed around 200-300 people attended over the 3 hours that the event was running. Each one of these people attending was given one of the free promotional gifts to make the experience more pleasant.

There is also another bonus to the local building society giving these printed cotton shoppers out for Free at this event. Not only was it great advertising at that event and made peoples visit to the event easier it is also a re useable item.

And it was re used by my wifes Grandad, as the very next day when we went Christmas shopping to Milton Keynes and he used the bag to carry any Christmas presents he brought, as quite often the plastic bags you get in the shops are of low quality and rip and can also hurt your hands, were as the promotional shopper bags are strong and easy to hold.

So as you can see simple promotional gifts can be very powerful if the right items are used for the right events, and can really raise your profile within your local area and even further a field.
