If you decide to do your link exchange campaign on your own, you will to keep track of the exchanges, I suggest you use a spreadsheet software to track your link exchanges.

One way to find websites that want to exchange links is to perform a web search for the keyword add url between quotes. This search will bring a lot of sites and you will need to send an email to tbe webmaster asking to exchange links. One thing that you will learn early in your webmaster life, is that time is precious, extremely precious, and you will not want to waste it in tedious repetion tasks.

Finally you need to have an action plan, if you are using a link exchange site, please set up a goal, i.e. one hundred links requests daily, looks like a lot but when you are using a link exchange service it is not, depending on the service, you can send five hundred, one thousand or more links requests on a day.

If you are doing your link exchange campaigns it is going to be hard to process one hundred or more links exchange per day. So it is clear you will need a tool or a site that will assist you with link exchange.

In conclusion, in order to build wealth on the internet you will need internet traffic, and one way to obtain this traffic is to get lots of links.
