The first aid course is completed in two sections.
Part 1: Online first aid study - This involves completing some background knowledge based learning through computer assisted learning. Normally students need to finish the Apply First Aid Training Online workbook and print out the certificate to present at the classroom course. In many training acadamy's this part of the course is free and depending upon your expertise and skill level commonly takes between 2 and 5 hours to complete.
Part 2: First Aid hands-on class.
In Perth Senior First aid courses, Apply First Aid, customarily run seven days a week and depending on the training school run for either one or two days, however a number of Perth first aid training centres offer an online training component and a 5 hour practical proficiency session.
