Weston Super Mare is ideally located as a centre for venturing out and exploring the West Country. It's conveniently situated just 17 miles from Bristol and is an ideal location for a day out or a short break for the whole family. We are not hard to find or get to as we are just 2 miles of the M5 motorway or can reached by rail.
It also offers great entertainment for every single member of the family. There have recently been major upgrades and renovations to the seafront promenade areas making Weston a very stylish and fashionable place to visit.
The grand Pier has recently been totally rebuilt and is the third Pier to stand on this site. In 2008 it was devastated by fire and totally burned out, however perhaps this is not such a bad thing as the new Pier is one of the most modern in Europe in which you could spend hours being entertained.
You'll find really clean and lovely beaches at Weston which comprise of golden sands. If you come by car you can drive and park directly on the beach as it is more than a mile in length.
With one of the highest tides in the world the Bristol Channel can be a difficult and dangerous place to swim as the sea can often be more than 1 km away. However, children and adults alike can be safely in the Weston Marine Lake.
The beach is both deep and very spacious which means you can be amongst crowds, or just as easily find a quiet place in the sun to spend your day without being disturbed. The children can have a donkey ride as well as enjoying lots of entertainment which is available upon the beach such as sand sculptures. When it's time for an ice cream or you feel a little peckish you will not have to do walk very far to find a beach store to get refreshments.
The town is really well serviced by hundreds of quality cafes and restaurants and snack bars, so you won't go hungry. As well as providing tons of evening entertainment which are be suitable for the whole family?
