What A Drag To Pay For Every Single Thing On A Commercial Flight

Over time the airlines have reduced almost every single perk that they used to offer on the flights

, and now they charge for all kinds of things that were included in the fare previously. It has become a pay per service issue so you now pay for all those extras, so you may be paying for that bag of peanuts in the future.

Flying hasn't been the same since 9-11 and the increased security may be necessary but it has been a real hassle. Most airlines claim that their airfares are up very simply to keep us safe but if you look at your ticket you might be surprised to find that this fee is tacked onto your fare and therefore is not the reason for the increase in airfare. Many people don't actually look to see that these claims are just over inflated excuses made by the airlines.

Obviously the inflight meals were axed quite a while ago and havn't come back. Usually you can get a snack unless the flight is long enough where they have to feed you due to requirements. So in the future they may ask you to pay for the snack, or they may ask you to pay for going to the bathroom which seems such a huge infringement upon a personal right. This may make the flights a free for all if people go in their seats as opposed to paying for it.

A lot of people still don't know about how tight the baggage constrictions have become through the airlines. The carry on bags have to be smaller than in the past and can't carry many items that used to be able to be carried so more people have to check more luggage. The airlines are currently now charging for the luggage, up to $30 a bag depending on the airline and some don't even allow one free. So do your packing on a very light basis or you will have to cough up some cash.

When you fly on a commercial airline flight today no matter what you do you will probably be paying out for each thing. So you want to pack lightly, bring on your own snacks and use the restroom at the airport prior to getting on the plane. If you aren't organized and think ahead like this you will end up paying a bunch more for your airfare than what you anticipated.
