, because of this more often than not a lot of us are running ourselves into the ground as we desperately attempt to fit everything into our busy schedule. When we do this from time to time things can slip and we can make mistakes or we can miss important dates.

Common dates that I often find pass me by without realising are people's birthdays. If you are anything like me then you probably have hundreds of birthday's to arrange purchasing cards for, and there are times when some of those birthdays slip simply because I haven't had time to get to the shops to purchase the cards or because I haven't had time to get to a post box to post the card.

Thankfully there is now a new system on the internet that allows you to send birthday ecards, to friends, family and colleagues for a one off fee per year. At this point there is bound to be some people wondering what are birthday ecards? Well to put it simply, birthday ecards are electronic versions of birthday cards, just like email the e in from of the word stands for electronic.

So how do you send birthday ecards? Well it is very similar to how you send an email, different companies have different structures, but usually you would log into the website and customise your ecard to the way that you want it. Once you have completed this task then you will be taken to a form where there are a number of fields to be filled in similar in structure to that of a regular email.

You will input the recipients email address and then your own email address or contact details so the recipients knows who the ecard is coming from. After this you will press the submit button and the ecard is sent. Obviously for the ecard to arrive on time it is reliant upon the person checking their email account, but the post can be late too.

birthday ecards are also a fantastic way to save the environment. Obviously if you are not wasting tree resources by sending paper cards with paper envelopes then it will have a tremendous impact on your own carbon footprint.
