What Are Computer Errors And How Do We Stop Them?

Whenever computer errors occur, it is most disconcerting

. For one thing, they may cause us to lose unsaved files. For another, they waste time as you restart the computer and try to find your place once it is running again. Then of course, there is also the concern for your computer's health. Is this PC ready for the trash heap because it is full of errors?

What do computer errors mean and what is the best way to deal with them? Well, certainly not like one guy I recently spoke to. He reformatted his hard drive and reinstalled his operating system because his computer was having errors. So then, he had to reinstall the files he had backed up, but lost a lot of files he hadn't backed up. Did the computer work when he was done doing these things? Well yes, about two weeks later! Following this procedure is what I refer to as the nuclear option.

In this article, we will discuss what common computer errors such as 2337 and 2908 errors are and what we should do if our computer is affected by such errors before we resort to the nuclear option.

Error 2337

An error 2337 is a common but still annoying occurrence in today's computing world. Because of a wonderful new innovation called the registry cleaner, this error doesn't have to be a major time waster or cause for a great deal of anxiety anymore.

Most often, when people tell me they have encountered a 2337 error, they note it happened while installing a program like "Flight Simulator," for instance. Of course, the problem could be caused by a bad installation disk. However, this is usually not the case with a new product. Normally, a 2337 error means, through no fault of your own, you have developed corruption in the registry of your operating system and simply using a good registry cleaner will, most times, cure the problem.

Error 2908

An error 2908 is normally an error that will occur when something is wrong in the operating system's net framework. It is the result of an installation gone bad. This error often will be accompanied by an alphanumeric sequence similar to {6A44421-3B77-52AA-16EA-E996ACA451B}. This big long number refers to a registry address because this type of error is most often the result of registry corruption.

It used to be a technician would tackle a 2908 error by going into MSCONFIG. Thank goodness for registry cleaners because now that they are available we don't have to do this anymore. One of the downfalls to using MSCONFIG is, as soon as you use it, all your restore points will be erased!

In today's computing world, registry corruption is common. The signs of it are any forms of computer errors, not just the two we have just discussed. Also, registry corruption can cause a computer to run slowly; sometimes very slowly.

If you have a computer that runs slowly or is giving error messages, a free registry scan is recommended so you can see if it is registry corruption causing the problem. The great news is that it is usually registry corruption behind these things and cleaning the registry will put your computer back in good health again without using the nuclear option.
