What Are Hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids or piles will occur if the veins located in the rectal or anal area become enlarged as well as irritated
. The swollen veins or tissues will bulge and may go outside the rectum and these results into pain and bleeding when making the bowel movement.
What are hemorrhoids types?
There are two main types of
hemorrhoids: internal and external type. The internal type cannot easily be distinguished since they are located inside the anus while those lumps that you see outside are the external types of piles. Internal pile can die on their own even without the medical intervention. However, both can become painful most especially with the external pile during your bowel movement or in sitting position. In addition to that, the external type cannot be treated on their own so it is best to cure it the soonest possible time.
There are also prolapsed piles where the internal type extends until the outside of the anus. These types of piles increased in swelling and become more inflamed. If this will not be pushed up inside the anus as soon as possible it will result into a more serious condition which is called the entrapped pile. When this happens, you will feel so much pain because the disease is trapped outside the anal area and cannot receive any amount of blood supply. If this situation continues, the disease will die but the infection will spread in entire body of the sufferer which will make him very ill.
