Almost every person in the world has some kind of ID with their photo on it

. It has become an important piece of identification. You cannot do anything unless you have an ID with a photo on it. It proves who you are. These photo IDs are now being used in a lot of work places. Everywhere from hospitals to retail stores are using photo IDs.

But how are all of these photos IDs made? They are made from photo ID systems. They are the systems on printers that make up the photo ID cards. There are different kinds of these systems.

There are different photo ID systems that you can use with your printer. These systems allow you to not only have IDs for all of your employees but also to have their photos placed on the cards for added security. There are systems that are basic all the way to premium. It all depends on how much you want on the ID cards. Each one of these systems will do something more for your ID cards so it all depends on how advanced that you want to be.

Let us talk about photo system. This makes basic ID cards. It is for one sided ID cards. But can be updated to the dual sided cards. These cards are high in security and this system is easy to use.

The starter system is great for the smaller companies. This one comes with the printer, the coloring supplies, the cleaning supplies and the software. It is easy to use. You install it on your PC and are ready to start.

The entry photo system is affordable and simple to use. This one is great for small to medium companies. It also has the printer and everything that you will need to get started.

There are five or six more photo systems. Each step up does more for you. Each one is more advanced and can handle a higher volume of ID cards. Each one has more features and the highest of technology.

We are going to talk about the Evolis printer. These printers can do it all. They can make identification cards. They can do drivers licenses. They can do gift cards. They can do membership cards and so much more. Of course they make photo cards also.

The Evolis printer also can be used to make security cards. This means that they will do cards that will only allow certain people access to certain rooms. These cards can be laminated. If you want them to be they can have magnetic stripes or they can have barcodes. These are both popular for time clocks. This printer can also put holograms on the cards for another added security like for example watermarks.

It is all a personal preference which printer that you buy. But some great words of advice would be to not go cheap. Make sure that you buy the best printer you can. The more expensive the more that it will be able to do for you.
