It reduces deforestation and is more durable, easy to maintain and easily available. It is also evident that the recycled rubber is made up of scrap rubber and thus it helps in eliminating the non-biodegradable rubber from the environment. It can be used in construction of the childrens playgrounds, like in swings, sea-saws, floors, mulches etc. As the recycled rubber is non-toxic in nature, it has no harmful effects on the children and also provides cushioning of the playground to avoid any injuries.

Recycled rubber is considered to possess some good properties that are not even present in the original rubber. It plays an important role in the key industries of the nation. The industries like that of aircraft, automobile, pharmaceuticals, textiles, construction etc, depend upon rubber to a great extent. Though rubber is regarded as a very useful resource, but when it is burnt it releases harmful gases in the environment and disturbs the balance of the nature. So it is our responsibility to use this resource in a concentrated and smart way, so as to provide cost effective and beneficial ways of consuming the product.
