Lately, I've been getting asked for recommendations for good, solid clones and replicas that include wifi. By clones, I'm assuming that people mean the popular iClones that function a lot like the regular model but don't require a contract or commitment. It used to be pretty rare for the early models to include this feature and those that did were generally bulky or heavy. (Examples are the F003 or the M88, although both are decent phones.) The bulkier size is no longer the norm. There are quite a few models that make use of hot spots but which are also quite sleek and light weight. I will discuss a few of what I feel are the best examples of these in the following article.

Later Models Of The CECT i9 And The KA08 That Include WiFi: Last year, two of the most popular clones were the KA08 and the CECT i9. These models did not have the hot spot feature. However, there have been updates and later versions of these phones that now do include it. Examples of later versions of the 9 are the i9+++ and the i9 3G. And these two models are relatively sleek and light weight. These later clones also usually have additional icon and menu pages as well as a new design with a rounded back. They will also accommodate more memory. Some of them can hold up to 32GB of additional memory.

Also, there's a newer KA08 which has wifi. This is sometimes referred to as the mini sciphone. As the name might imply, this model is a true mini, weighing in at only 68 grams. Some people really love these small phones and some prefer the more full sized traditional models. That's really an individual and personal preference. The screens on the minis aren't compromised, but there is obviously less real estate to work with.

Another popular, newer clone with wifi is the airphone. However, despite it's extremely sleek size, it's only a single slim phone so it wouldn't fit the bill of someone looking for two sim slots like the more traditional clones. But, the extremely skinny width of the phone does counter this for some people.

And, despite the fact that these newer models are updated and have additional features, they aren't more expensive than last year's models were. They can often run around or lower than $100. And when you add in the lack of contract and commitment as well as the low cost of the new "all in one" or pre paid sims that often include unlimited talk, text, and web, these clones are still, at least in my opinion, the least expensive way to enjoy the features that you want without paying high prices for them.
