Having deep drawers for plastic bowls, lids and other things that would ordinarily be cluttering up a cabinet makes them easier to find and keeps you from losing the lids. Another drawer idea is to have a "faux" drawer where the front comes down and a flat "bottom" slide out makes accessing cooking tools and large ladles a snap instead of having to dig through drawers to find them. Taking that idea one step further, having the cabinet base "slide out" gives you easy access to virtually everything in the cabinet without having to crawl into it and makes it easier to clean as well.
