Chicken pox symptoms occur due to a virus called varicella - zoster virus which is also called as human herpes virus 3

. Chicken pox is very infectious disease that can be seen very easily in children especially those are below 12. Chicken pox symptoms can be identified through fever and red spots that itch. Chicken pox can disperse easily as it is highly communicable.

Communicable disease like chicken pox can transfer from one person to another by coming in contact with the infected person. This transfers the virus from one body to another. Virus can enter from one person to another if one person touch blister, spit of the infected person. Chicken pox symptom can enter another person's body if infected person coughs or sneezes.

Chicken pox symptoms can be stopped from spreading if proper precautions are under taken. One must avoid any personal contact with person. Infected person should eat their food separately to avoid any spreading.

Common chicken pox symptoms include rashness that begins from body and then, slowly and gradually, spread to face and other parts. These rashes generally itch. The rashness starts with red spots which get converted into blisters in small time. These blisters then are converted into scabs after one to two days. In the mean time, new blisters also start appearing. Chicken pox usually accompanies itself with fever. Chicken pox symptoms are usually mild in children of small age. The period of chicken pox symptoms varies from person to person. They generally stay for 7 to 10 days in children but can extend to more period in adults. Adults are more prone to suffer from complications as compared to children.

Chicken pox symptoms can accompany any one. But, usually a person with low fighting system is more prone of getting them. Pregnant women are also likely to have chicken pox if they have not suffered till that time.

Chicken pox usually does not involve complications but one should consult doctors to avoid any misshapenness. If one is having temperature greater than 103F should go for doctor immediately. One's eye can be accompanied from rash. Dehydration, vomiting are some of the cases when one should consult doctor.

If one fails to consult doctor, one can have some house tips to have relief. Cold water baths by adding baking soda can give some relief from itching. Nails should be trimmed to avoid any infection through them. If nails are trimmed, then, one would not be able to scratch blisters thus preventing problems. Have some simple food and avoid spicy and oily food. If symptoms do persist, then, one must consult doctor immediately.
