What Are The Very Worst Marketing Tools for Prescription Drugs in Canadian Pharmacies?

Just the other day I was in the pharmacy and noticed a couple things that struck

me as probably the very worst marketing tools for prescription drugs in pharmacies. I can tell that they would be a bad choice in Canadian Pharmacies.

We use prescription drugs for a lot of different ailments and there is a normal process for the distribution of these products. The doctor must look at you and diagnose the ailment based on the symptoms he observes. The next step is for the doctor to prescribe the necessary medications on a script pad. That is your ticket to the completion of transaction at the pharmacy.

We can honestly say that any kind of marketing in the store would have to rank right up there with the worst marketing. Just think about the last time you went to get a prescription filled. You were sick, tired, and already have the solution in your hand when you get there. You will not be looking for another solution to your problem at that time. Any literature or display would be lost on you by then. It is a bit late to try and get customer after they are already in the store, because they know that they would have to start all over again by going back to the doctor.

With the advent of the internet, the world has opened up for sales from all countries including Canada. We feel the best way to market anything these days is on the internet. We have all seen the ads for Canadian pharmacies on the internet. That process can open you up to a new world of products, many at lower prices than you can get locally. Plus many of the doctors scripts can be transferred to the pharmacy and you can get your medications in the mail.
