While it can be incredibly difficult to send autistic family members or friends to
live at autistic care homes, it is not as though the individual is being isolated. Oftentimes it is the right decision to move them in to such a home because typical families do not have all the resources at their disposal to supply an autistic person with the medical and psychological professionals that they need to have in their lives. It is a very hard decision to make, but it is the best choice when a family or roommate simply is incapable of providing the level of care that an autistic person requires.
