Do you like to act, sing, perform, dance or maybe all four? Are you looking to follow a career in these performance arts? Then you are probably wondering what careers you can follow with as a performing arts graduate?

Well the most popular one would be a film career, but finding that part in the next blockbuster movie is more than many artists can hope for. Many performers, whether they are singers, actors, musicians or dancers go onto the stage. West end or provincial theatres, they are all crying out for the kind of talent that you have. Who knows, if you become experienced enough and are noticed by an influential agent, you may end up on starring on the West End stage!

Good musicians are always required, not just as soloists but as members of groups, bands and ensembles. Theatres, hotels, theme parks and high end restaurants are always on the look out for a good musician, with their own instrument and a good repertoire. Then there are session musicians from everything to film scores and backing tracks to adverts and helping out the latest boy band. Of course if you like travel, then cruise ships always want good musicians. Work at night and sunbathe and explore new countries during the day what a career to aspire to. So whether you are in the orchestra pit or behind a piano in a restaurant, you will be following your career whilst using your skills and love of good music.

If you are a dancer then of course there are musicals to star in and chorus lines to excel in but theme parks always want good, athletic dancers, not only in their shows and displays but as theme characters and animated guest relation hosts. Of course, cruise ships also want good dancers.

Actors may search first for film or theatre work, but theme parks and dinner shows always want good actors to entertain their guests. Then there is the wonderful world of advertising where do you think they get those people who marvel at new cars, wash their floors better than before and eat those wonderful dinners from? That is right; they are usually actors who know how to deliver just the right message, on cue and without taking too much filming time.

Then there is the wonderful world of television. Actors, dancers and musicians can be seen everywhere from children's TV to the latest version of your soap. A lead actor on a soap is better paid (and more often paid) than many a film actor ask Hugh Laurie who plays House that wonderful English, Eton educated actor who is the highest paid TV actor in the world!

So if singing, acting, dancing or music is your life then look at graduating with a Performing Arts College education.
