Some DVD rental sites are already able to offer 67,000 films so there's no scarcity of choice and it's becoming harder to use the label method to check.
Another way to see which DVDs you can rent online is to check by doing a search for your favourite actor or director. If you find that their films are fairly well represented then it's likely to be a service that you can get on board with.
Similar actors making the sort of films you like already are likely to work with the same studios so that also makes it a safe bet.
It's also worth noting that when it comes to blu ray rental there are considerable differences between the online dvd rental websites in terms of those they have to offer.
This is perhaps because blu ray is more expensive than DVD but this is worth bearing in mind if you want to watch your films at home in high definition.
