What Does True Skincare Really Mean and What Should You Look For?

Recently I have heard the term true skincare being talked about

, particularly in adverts for the leading brands. But what is it really and how do you find it?

Don't be fooled by the leading brands advertizing the ultimate or true skincare as they never deliver on their promises as you may have found. They contain little active ingredients, not enough to do any good, and far too many harmful chemicals to preserve the product and fill it out.

The best creams and body lotions contain a mix of plant extracts, natural oils, honey, special enzymes, kelp, powerful antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and much more. All this and not a harmful chemical in sight!

I believe the definition of true skincare is one that is completely natural and contains substances that help to keep your skin in optimal health while helping you to a more youthful appearance. In addition they should be able to improve your overall health and well being too.

These also target the main causes of aging which are loss of collagen and elastin, loss of hyaluronic acid and oxidation by free radicals.

Some ingredients that help to tackle these areas include Cynergy TK, Phytessence wakame and Coenzyme Q10.

These combine to stimulate your body to produce as much collagen and elastin as it needs. These proteins are lost with age and help to keep your skin firm and youthful. Without them, fine lines and wrinkles creep in and your skin becomes thinner and drier and starts to sag.

They help to restore your hyaluronic acid which works with collagen and elastin to maintain the elasticity and also provides essential nutrients to feed your skin with exactly what it needs to heal and repair.

Lastly, extremely powerful antioxidants quash the free radicals that bounce around damaging healthy cells. Although you get these in your diet generally, your skin needs extra help as the free radicals increase in number as you grow older.

The result is deep down moisturizing and healing that maintains healthy skin and prevents the signs of aging from creeping in or returning as the case may be.

Your body can benefit from the nutrients which help to strengthen your immune system and promote better circulation.

I hope you agree with me on my definition of true skincare and if you follow these tips you can enjoy a younger looking and healthier appearance.
