Kidaro, a Brief Profile Kidaro, a desktop virtualization vendor, entered the desktop virtualization scene in 2006 with their Kidaro Managed Workspace product. Microsoft combined Kidaros technology with its Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP), also known as Windows Optimized Desktop, thereby providing its Microsoft Software Assurance customers a new desktop virtualization product called Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V).
