What Happens When That Water Causes More Damage

Every morning, we usually wake up either to a sunny day or a cloudy day

. The sun may shine brightly or the rain may just pour. But sometimes, a storm comes up and it can be a weak one or a strong one. The degree of destruction it causes is, of course, dependent on its intensity. A storm with low intensity only brings heavy rains and minor environmental and human damage.

A storm with a heavier intensity is more destructive. Many areas, especially in the outskirts and barren lands are prone to flooding. However, an area can be flooded because of the city's poor sewage system. Effects of flooding are seen in homes, pets, crops and trees. The worst part is these effects can drag on for quite a long time.

Unfortunately, man suffers from these negative effects. Seeing dead loved ones, pets, and other helpless creatures. There are children who lost their parents and just don't know where to go. There are people who can only look at their investment just fade away. Many lose their business, their cars and their homes. The worst part, many will lose their lives.

Flood not only can affect us physically but it can scar us emotionally especially when we lost loved ones during the flood. The worst part is the pain won't go away, we just learn to live with it. Going back to how it was before the disaster will be harder because of the destruction that it has caused to the environment. Nature surely is unpredictable. It can either hate us by causing a lot of catastrophe or love us giving us all the natural wonders.

Flood has been with us ever since time started. However destructive it can be, we just have to learn that it's all part of the cycle. That's the safe way to look at flood so we, as survivors, can move on as there are still other storms to encounter.
