Attraction Marketing is just that, attracting your market

. Are you a leader? Are you a professional? Likely prospects are going to be attracted to you if they believe you have something to offer them. Together with my online networking business, I currently own a web based personalised accent dcor store. I also sell on Ebay & Etsy as well. When I began selling the decor in 2006, I had approximately 5 or 6 items in my Ebay store with a modest feedback score. I currently have over 2200 sales on Ebay alone with over 110 items in my store. Which seller do you think my potential consumers are going to be more attracted to? The professional website with 110 items and 2200 feedback score tells my potential buyer that other customers have purchased and loved my product. I have shown to these potential buyers that I can be trusted.

The same idea holds true for network marketing. Its you, the seller that they must trust before they will purchase your products. The most important aspect is not just how wonderful your product is. Like my custom items store, it is the storefront, the number of sales and my positive feedback that is key. In network marketing, if a potential buyer believes you have something to offer them, that you can help them gain that income through network marketing, then you are more likely to sell your products. This is attraction marketing.

Successful marketers will tell you Sell yourself first, products second. Your potential followers need to know they can count on you and learn from you, that you will be there to guide them when needed. If you cant provide that, they will buy products, just not from you.

How do I attract my market?


First, learn. Buy every e book, cd etc you need to learn the methods of network marketing. No resource out there is going to teach you everything but the more you learn, the more value you will be to your potential buyers. Some knowledge is free, or fairly inexpensive. Some items you may have to pay a little more but all this information is going to pay off in the end. Most importantly, learn from those who have succeeded in the business. Learn from their mistakes and successes.

Second, teach your potential buyers how to market. Show them the tools and tips that will make them successful in online marketing. By offering this service you have shown them value. You have just shown them that you are a leader and you are there to help. (This does not end when they are an affiliate. If they succeed, you succeed.)


Third, do not chase anyone (ex. Cold calls, door to door, mailings etc) and do not seek out potential buyers. About 13 years ago, as a travel consultant for a large agency, we were required to call our prospects back 3 times. The first follow up is just that, a follow up. People get busy and forget to follow through. The second and third I dreaded. That second call Ive just turned the tables. I was now chasing this potential buyer and no one likes to be chased. Most run! I can honestly say by the second call, I never heard from these potential buyers again, ever. When you chase, people run away!
