With full service from the four and a half star staff, travelers can stay for one night or much longer, perhaps feeling more settled than in a hotel room. Some reviews question the four star rating of the Mecure Sydney airport, saying the hotel is understaffed and the restaurant is pricey for its indifferent fare. These are not the only hotels at the airport, but seem to be the main ones turning up on the Internet. Booking is easy to arrange. None are cheap, but travelers do not seem to be paying much more for the proximity to the airport than they would to stay downtown. All have Internet access, all are non-smoking, all are climate controlled, and all offer discounts for booking in advance. Services may or may not be free, so it may be wise to ask about those that will be needed during the stay.
