What is network marketing?

Network marketing is when a company distributes products through a network of independent contractors. These contractors will earn a commission on every sale they make but won't be paid a salary.

Every time the product is sold, the buyer can then become a seller, and the original seller will earn a commission on each of their sales. As the network grows and grows, the original seller can potentially make huge sums of money.

The only people that do well from multi level marketing are those that have a good product that is in demand. With internet network marketing 97% will make no money. It's therefore incredibly important to find a relevant, high cost product to earn decent money. But it's not that hard to find. There are plenty of networks out there that offer great products and opportunities. You just need to do a bit of research first.

However, even with a good product or service, success is not guaranteed. Successful marketers all have one thing in common. They've been in MLM for at least a year. It's as simple as that. The marketing techniques you are taught, when you first get into this, all work. The one thing people leave out when they talk about their success is that it took a long time.

Network marketing is a great way to make money but the future lies in combining network marketing and the internet. Not only can you make fantastic money but you can make it from anywhere that has an internet connection. What is network marketing? It's a way of making massive money from wherever you want.

I myself use mostly article and video marketing to drive traffic to my business opportunities. This was actually really hard at first because I found myself way out of my comfort zone but that's all part of finding network marketing success. You need to push your boundaries and get the right mindset. The mindset of someone who's running a successful business. An abundance mentality.

All I'm saying is that you should always be aware that once you've started implementing your network marketing strategies, it will be a while (3 - 6 months) before you start to see any real benefits from your work. This is the reason why most people fail, because they just end up thinking they've been scammed.

Now when someone says to you "what is network marketing?" you should have a good answer.
