What Is The Best Way To Dispose Of A Dead Body: Cremations Or Funerals

Planning how to say goodbye to departed friends and relatives is never an easy task

. There are usually two options that people can consider after death. These are cremations or funerals. Even though traditional burial has been the most popular choice amongst most people due to its religion acceptance, cremation has more benefits when the two are compared.

There is usually a misconception amongst many people that cremations remove the need to hold memorial service for the departed. This is however not true since cremation is merely another way of preparing the deceased body for the final deposition. Procedures just like in normal funeral involve filling death documents and even receiving death certificate. Below are some benefits of burning the deceased body rather than traditional burial.

Burning is usually very cheap compared to burial. This is because there is always no need for an individual to buy the expensive caskets or even pay cemetery charges for burial. Optional funeral services can also be held at much reduced rates. For the people who would want a funeral service before burning, the casket can always be rented at a reduced price since its use is just for a short duration of time.

Burning the bodies also offers a lot of flexibility to the deceased family members. Unlike in burial where the funeral service must always be held at the cemetery before burial, cremation allows for this to be held at a later date. This allows the family to arrange for this service at the time that best suits all of them.

People are always scattered in different parts of the world. Arranging for funeral services at a later date would allow family members to make travel arrangements in order to attend the funeral service. This would help them avoid unplanned travels that are likely to be very costly.

Burning also preferred since it is environmentally friendly. One would not need a very big land to burn dead bodies. Instead, just a small piece of land is always sufficient. Even those who do not own parcels of land can always rent them for this purpose at a relatively low cost.

Many people usually prefer a simpler form of farewell party to their departed loved ones. Burning usually provides a simpler way of doing this and the level of the ceremony is always up to the deceased family members. When unable to choose between the two options of disposing dead bodies, cremations or funerals, one can always compare their pros and cons and they will be able to make wise decisions.
