Simple little positive activities that are NOT performed everyday will lead you to failure. I first learned this success principle when I read a book by Jeff Olson called the Slight Edge.

The slight edge philosophy teaches that success in life is based on doing a few simple positive activities every day and that the act of doing these activities will eventually lead you to success. For example, in online network marketing we know that every activity we do to build our list will move us towards success. Any activity that is not building our list will move us to failure. The same goes for any area in life. If you want to lose weight you must do simple positive activities every day and the act of doing them consistently will build a tremendous amount of momentum that will lead you to weight loss.

In online network marketing we must plan our days in advance to make the maximum use of our time. Every human being in life has the same amount of time. Meaning, we all have 24 hours in a day. It is those people that create a plan of action for that day and discipline themselves to accomplish their daily goals that will earn the best that life has to offer. So every day in your business you must write out on paper your plan of action and then focus totally on that plan. Doing this one simple activity like planning your day in advance will greatly impact your business and will move you forward in your business. This is the real equalizer between why some people fail and life and others succeed.
