What Is The Maximum Carrying Capacity Of Courier Vehicles? Quite A Capacity!

. That is why we accept and ship the largest orders anywhere, because we believe that way, and because we can.

How large a shipment can we do? That's a little like asking how much money everyone is going to make this year. The bigger the dreamer means the bigger the money. So, since big is the operative word here, let us fill you in on our astounding carrying capabilities, and the different freight designations that make them all happen.

First of all, just to get it out of the way, consider the small stuff. A package between 15 and 45 pounds has a freight designation of between 50 and 100 (freight designations, which mandate how much we can charge for shipping, run up to 500). Packages like this get shipped in our regular vans, which carry about 40 to 50 packages easily. Assuming the smaller sizes are the norm, and allowing for different lengths and sizes of packages, we can probably move close to 1000 pounds in one of those vehicles.

Now, what about larger orders? Our semi trucks (and we have a fleet of those) can handle both larger packages and larger numbers of packages, up to a ton (2000 pounds). Any time you are dealing with larger shipments, remember as well that you have a capacity versus density issue. That is, the number of the packages will affect the weight we can carry. You can send out a shipment of twenty 25 pound packages, but they will take up much more space than one package of 500 pounds. Fewer packages equals better carrying capacity.

Bigger? More than 10 thousand pounds? That will probably require a dockside shipment, since our loading and sea travel vehicles have a far greater carrying capacity than our smaller land bound models. Notice, by the way, we never said we could not do the order. We will never say that because we do not regard any order as too big. Even if we have to divide the shipment out among different vehicles, we make it happen.

So in answer to your question of how big a cargo your Atlanta delivery service can carry, we shoot one back at you: how big a cargo do you need to ship? We have literally unlimited carrying capacity, so if that is what you are after, we have a deal! And that way, we both think big!
