What Is The Real Difference Between Successful And Average People

, and How Can I Benefit From It?

I have often asked myself what the key differences are between people that are successful, and those that are miserable, unsuccessful or who have experienced under achievement. Please note and understand that I am not attempting in any way to big note myself as actually, I am like many other people and so too are you. There is one simple difference however, that you can implement today to start being more like the person you truly desire to be. I am talking about concentrated energy and effort.

Sorry. "Concentrated energy and effort? What is that, and how can I use that to help me?" you may be asking yourself. I can tell you right now that most people have bundles of energy, but as is often the case, it is misdirected, or scattered without any focus. Think about this for a minute. How often do you start something, to be interrupted, such as by receiving a call, or an email, and then do something else? Then, you might start surfing other pages on the internet and so on. This is just one possibility of many, The fact is that many of us are very disorganised, or unfocused. The result is that many of us achieve much less than we otherwise could. Another way to look at this is using our energy in many unfocused directions.

Hence, knowing this, we need to ensure that we practice a fierce concentration regime, where we are disciplined and determined to remain dedicated to a specific task at a time. I know it is very easy to say, and harder to put into practice. However, by focusing on a given task like a concentrated beam of light starting a fire, aim and concentrate your thoughts and activities on a given task at a time.

You will find that you achieve much more, in less time, and feel more productive at the end of the day as well. I used to regularly schedule so many things, all on the one day, telling myself I will get them all done. Now, this can work if you start a task and then finish it, before starting the next one and so on. However, the reality is that I sometimes did a little of one task, then a little of another, and so on. The end result was a lot of time switching between tasks, and realigning my thinking as well. I ended up being much less efficient, as well as less accomplished at the end of the day.

I now recommend being very focused, and regularly practice this technique in my daily activities and recommend you follow a similar process.
