Many cardiovascular conditions can also cause tinnitus because change in blood flow or pressure can make noise if by the ear.

Since ears are located on the head, injuries to any part of the head can affect ears as well. Head trauma that results in bruising, fractures, or more can cause an accumulation of blood flow or an outpouring of fluids which may cause tinnitus because of the extra sounds coming from inside. Stress and the consequential headaches may also lead to tinnitus because of the pressure and increase blood pulsation in the head.
