. This wonderful flexibility of sofas convertible into beds have proved of great help those who live in small apartments and worried about the accommodation of extra guest for sleep over.

With time and with the importance which home furniture has gained in last few decades, designers have come with many ideas on how one piece of furniture can serve at multi purpose level. Sofa beds are one of the kinds. They can easily be converted into beds at nights and after its purpose served it can be rearranged back to a sofa. They are not difficult to be arranged and rearranged as they are flexible and comfortable enough to handle. They come in different style, shapes, sizes and colors to match your interiors.

When you are considering to but sofa beds you need to be sure of few things. Like where do you want to place the sofa bed, how much leg space does the area have, how big or small sofa bed do want depending on the guest u expecting, the kind of sofa beds you need and your budget.

Sofa beds are made of materials including cotton or polyester covers, suede or leather and many others. Choose the sofas after being sure of the materials used. This is because not all materials can stand the tear and wear usage and can easily be damaged. They also come in various styles suiting the layout of your room. There are traditional sofa beds with two-three seaters, small chair beds and corner sofas which utilize the space efficiently.

The general sofa beds have foam mattresses and are the least expensive. This kind of sofa beds are convertible by simply removing the loose cushions while the seating area folds down, creating a mattresses which lay on the floor. They are designed for occasional use and best for children room.

Another type of sofa bed is the clic-clac sofa beds with has sprung backs which simply clicks down backwards forming another seating area which can be used for sleeping as well. They are more durable than foam sofa beds which can be safely used on everyday bases. Similar to the clic-clacs, there are also available futon sofa beds with the only difference that they have metal frame which are visible. Suitable for only bedrooms as it night not match the living room area. This has an added advantage of some storage space available underneath.

The most common used sofa beds are the pull out sofa beds. Here the sofas lower part can be extended and the double mattresses can be spread evenly making it comfortable for couples to sleep on. They too come with extra storage spaces which are suitable to store the pillows and quilts which you might need during night.

Always remember, furniture is made for us to use them according to our comforts. Therefore be sure of sofa beds you want to buy and consider all points like how much you will be using the sofa beds, if you are comfortable with the kind of sofa beds you choose and whether it matches with the designs of your room.
