There's a food tent where you can taste a variety of delicacies, and of course everything contains garlic.

Time goes by quickly but the appeal of the Isle of Wight has remained unchanged. The 1950s and 60s brought with an explosion of American-led popular culture among Britain's youth which alienated them from their parents. Teenage rebellion was embodied in the rise of subcultures such as the mods and rockers who had different musical loyalties and dress codes. The 70s was a time of experimentation in all fields especially in the arts and in music, as we can see in the evolution of the Beatles music. Well, the Isle of Wight welcomed the music groups such as the Rolling Stones, who excavated the traditions of the so-called "black music" which lay behind rock 'n' roll.

Also, the terrestrial fauna is remarkable because the Isle of Wight is the only place in England where lives the red squirrel and other rare species of protected animals such as many species of bats.The small local railway is part of Newport, with its Roman villa and Carisbrooke Castle, where Charles I was held imprisoned. On the North Coast is also worth a visit Cowes, where ferries come from Southampton dock. At Cowes we meet a residence; it was where Queen Victoria stayed a long time, while at Sandown.
