Here I will point out the major differences between men and women in selecting bags. Or in other words, what they care in selecting bags.

To begin with, we all know that men usually won't hang a bag over their shoulder and stroll around the street. More often than not, men will only lift a briefcase in their hand for business purpose. Then what will men take into consideration when they select a briefcase?

In my opinion, first they will decide whether the briefcase fits into their personal style. A briefcase is by no means a mere container which you use to carry documents or other necessities. No, not for men, especially a senior one. Remember, the first thing a man cares when buying a briefcase is whether it can give a full play of his personal style. This is very important. Unlike women, men won't chase after the fashion trend.

And then men are loyal to two colors when selecting a briefcase: black and brown. It is because these two colors are most compatible in the background of a work place. Besides, men also stress the durability of a briefcase. In their minds, a slightly worn briefcase can better display a kind of authority. So they usually hope a briefcase can last as long as possible.

As to women, their concerns in selecting a bag are much more than men. Women will take everything into consideration such as texture, the size and style of the bag and so on. Besides, they still have to decide whether a bag fits into their height or their dressing. As to a woman, all these factors can't be ignored. And lastly, women are by no means loyal to a certain style or color of a bag. They often go after the fashion trend and are frequent in changing bags to catch up with the pace of it.

Since men and women stress different concerns of bags, bags for men and bags for women, I contend, should reflect such differences.
