ESP Powers or Extra Sensory Perception Power can be termed as the ability to see

, hear, feel or know information from one's surroundings which are otherwise not perceptible through the ordinary five sense organs of a human. Commonly known as Psychic powers, these are special abilities in a few gifted people that enables them in perceiving things with their extra or sixth sense.

Thus, if you find it easy to say the outcome of a match from beforehand or say, the name of the visitor with the ring of the doorbell, maybe even guess correctly what your friend is thinking about sitting beside you, chances are that these are not cases of coincidences or good guess work and you might possess ESP Powers.

ESP powers are extremely rare and only a few gifted people are born with it. Though it must be noted that it is possible to develop one's ESP abilities by meditational techniques and the like which makes you aware of the powers of your subconscious mind. There are various kinds of ESP powers as seen in the world but the most common and popular ESP powers are those of Telepathy, Precognition and Clairvoyance.

Precognition is the ability to know events of the future. For example if your child can predict that the teacher will be absent at school and it really happens, or you can correctly guess the result of an event, then the power of precognition is definitely at work. We can say that the desire if human beings to know about their future beforehand is the reason for the popularity of this ability.

The third common of the ESP powers is that of Clair Voyance or 'Clear Viewing' which involves a psychic in seeing objects, people or events which are not visible to the naked eye. Thus, if a person is able to see his old mother who lives in another corner of the world or is able to see things inside a sealed box or even events occurring a great distance away, he is said to be a clairvoyant.
