What Requires Being Sincere?

. People lie for all sorts of reasons, but usually because they don't think the person involved can handle the truth, or to cover themselves from looking bad. Some people don't even know when they are lying ' especially when they are lying to themselves.
Being sincere means you are willing to admit that you make mistakes, that you are not perfect and that you are open and willing to learn. Being sincere requires courage and understanding. When someone is sincere in life, they are always relaxed and peaceful, and they are always a pleasure to be with. You can trust a sincere person. People can usually tell when someone is sincere, or not. That's because we can all feel each other's energy. We can judge when someone's energy is peaceful, relaxed and positive.

When you are sincere to yourself, it means you understand yourself, you accept your limitations and you know there is always more to learn and more in life to discover. Because perfection doesn't exist, you can give up being perfect. When you are open to tell it like it is and how you feel and are not ashamed that other people will see your 'dirty' laundry. Then you are really free to say whatever you want, and show people who you really are.
To be sincere to some higher truths means you can accept that there are certain laws that are universal, and that you let yourself be guided by those laws. The Ten Commandments are such laws, just like those. For example, "thou shalt not kill", means you realize that it is not acceptable to kill other people. You would somehow know that you cannot do the same back to them, even if someone killed someone dear to you. Two wrongs don't make a right - you know it is bad.
So, when you are sincere to some higher truth, you are able to rise above your own personal truth. For example, you can surrender your angriness to the higher truth. Then, if you know it is good to be happy, for example. Find a way to make yourself happy if you are sad... you can decide to be happy. then you will see the benefit to yourself and everyone around you, automatically. It is easy to be sincere when you are full of positive, peaceful and balanced energy. Sincerity is the by product of someone who feels good about themselves, because they are energetically strong and in tune.
