Discipline is referred to systematic instruction or code of conduct which is given to a person. Discipline is the method of molding character, teaching self control and acceptable behavior for instance teaching the child to wash their hands before hand, how to eat their food, how to keep their things neat and clean. Discipline is the most indispensable quality of life.

It is indeed the greatest law of nature. It is necessary in all aspect of life like schools, colleges and homes. It is also necessary in the personal life of everybody, health and also for progress in life. One should be regular in ones habit of food, study and sleep. It is the only key to success. Discipline teaches the children the difference between right and wrong thing. It also empowers to get rid of any problem and it is simply unmatched.

It becomes even more powerful when it is combined with other weapons like passion, goal-setting and planning. Discipline is like a knife, the more you sharp it, the stronger you become. The fundamental method to enhance self discipline is to face challenges and accomplish the positive result. Discipline teaches the child about their parameters and teaches to show respect to others.

Children are by nature pure, sincere, and eager to learn.

If the schools and colleges impart the value of discipline the purity of the students can be maintained and enhanced. Absorbing the value of discipline at an early and receptive age, will be very beneficial for the youth, and will in turn ensure that India has a shining future. Discipline is necessary for both the teacher and the taught as a teacher has a great duty of keeping a high image of his character in the public. He can't do it unless he maintains an intellectual and more discipline of a high order. No student will obey and respect an undisciplined teacher, no matter if his knowledge is high. Its not that only teachers in schools can impart discipline to the children, but parents play a vital part in making the children aware of the importance of obedience.

The most important possessions of a nation are the citizens themselves. If the citizens are discipline, healthy, patriotic, honest, and sincere, then the nation will progress at a much rapid pace. Hence, it is very crucial to have discipline in schools and colleges. To inculcate discipline to students, there can be many ways for instance telling stories, preaching, group discussions and meditation.
