When we go through a break up, it can cast us into a panic mode
. You are hurt, angry and bewildered and not sure what to do. You essentially have two choices that you can choose from. If you don't want this individual in your life any more, then you should go through a grieving period then move on with your life, or try to get him back in your life.
Which ever way you choose, do not take revenge on your ex because it will come out bad for you too. If you want your ex back and you think you have contributed to their leaving, you need to make an apology. The best way is for them to hear it directly from you, but if you can't get them on the phone then write a letter to them. Be sure to tell your ex how much you truly miss them.
If you get a good response to your call or letter, try to make arrangements to meet in a neutral public location to talk over your thoughts. This meeting is not to argue further about your previous situation. This is a chance for both of you to express your feelings and let the other person have their say.
Do not try to trick your ex into coming back to you; it will most likely back fire on you. Your ex may catch on to what you did and take off on you again. Be honest with each other so you can get a good start over and have a much stronger relationship than you previously had.
