- For a broader perspective on the reputation of a medical alert system service, seek out customer testimonials, preferably from sources other than the company being investigated.
-Find out what the companys procedures are in case of emergencies such as a power failure. Do they have a remote location? A backup generator? A backup mobile phone system?
With the number of home medical monitoring companies ever increasing, you can afford to be choosey. Just make sure to weigh all your options before choosing the company best fitting the needs of your elderly friend or loved one.
