There are few tales that are more fascinating and actually spell-binding as a good urban legend

. These are seen as a current anomaly that sociologists and folklorists do not find in what are generally known as archaic cultures. For whatever reason, in our current society there is an inclination to take stories with a sensational feel to them and reiterate them, often telling that they start from 'a friend of a friend'. Seeing that the real teller of these tales are not often recorded, these people passing the information along can't be held accountable for the truthfulness of the whole story.
