Okay men, listen up. It's time to get a few things straight about what women want. What they really want. What do you need to know to make it work, and make it last? The first thing you need to get clear on is that listening to women is a bad idea. Does that shock you? It shouldn't. Let me tell you why I say that.
Women almost never tell you what they want. This is why they are so difficult to figure out, and why many a good man has left the scene either pulling their hair out, or punching a hole in the kitchen wall. Women are notorious for saying one thing and meaning something entirely different, even contradictory, to what they just said. Need some examples? Check it out:
Let's start with the easiest thing for you men to observe that would instantly and forever prove my point. The next woman you hear saying that she wants a man who will listen to her, just take a good look at the man she is with. He will be the guy at the party who has to do all the talking for himself, and for her. He won't let her get a word in edgewise. Does this sound like she is with a man who listens to her?
Then, take a look at the woman who wants to be with a man who makes her laugh. He has a great sense of humor. Then, take a look at her man. Is he a Jerry Seinfeld? He's not even a George Costanza. Not even close to being a Cosmo Kramer. He is more like Mr. Peterman, with money coming out of his ears, and not a funny bone in is body.
Are you following what I am showing you here? Women never say what they want. They instead say one thing, but do another, even something that is the complete opposite of what they say. Why in the world do women do that? Aside from their goal of frustrating the male species. It all has to do with what lies beneath, in their subconscious. This is where you need to pay as close attention as you can. Trust me, it will all come together in the end.
Why do men and women get together? I don't mean the social reason we do. Of course, we want to have fun, get out and meet people, and socialize. But my question goes all the way back to the beginning of our race. Think about it. Men and women didn't just get together to swap jokes and suck face. They got together because they knew that if they didn't, the species would end with the current crop of old timers. What I am trying to say, as delicately as I can, is that men and women ultimately get together to make babies. So a woman, as she is describing the kind of man she wants to be with, might not exactly be thinking of this man as the other cog in the baby making machine, deep down, this is exactly what she is thinking. She wants a man who will produce good babies for her, and be a good dad to them.
So, think about it, guys. Is one of the qualities of a good father one who listens to mama? I doubt it. Instead, I think a good dad is one who can take care of the children's needs. You know, put a roof over their heads, feed them, clothe them, and buy them Playstation 3 games. This takes a man who knows what he is after in life, in the way of a career, and can go out there and get it, and bring mama home the paycheck.
Being a man who can provide for all the wants and needs of the little lady and her flock of future men and women is all the man a woman wants. It doesn't matter who she says she wants, if he is an unemployed bum, or an underemployed underachiever, chances of this guy staying with this gal lessens with each passing moment. Stability and financial ability is where it is really at, men.
