Q: With the latest buzz from Washington about cancer, and all the products we use and foods we eat that are toxic, it sounds like you have been right on the mark in your articles. I am so concerned about my children being exposed to toxic chemicals that we aren't even aware of.
A: Yes, sadly, I'm afraid Ihave been "on the mark". However, this information has been around for decades and I am glad that it's finally being addressed through an agency that so many people put their faith in. Perhapsnow, they will listen and begin to make personal changes.
The world has changed greatly in the last century. Industry has destroyed almost all of our fresh air, water, and food supplies. And unfortunately, the human body cannot adapt quickly enough to offset the damage doneby the toxicity inour environment.
To show just how bad things really are, a recent study showed that of the280 chemicals found in the placentas of newborns;180 chemicals caused cancer in humans, 217 chemicalsare toxic to the brain and nervous system and 208cause birth defects. Teflon was one of the most common toxic chemicals found,(see my previous article on Teflon),and these babies had barely lived outside the womb.
Chances are,you have also been exposed to heavy metals like arsenic and lead. They can be found in pesticides, glass, wood preservatives, fertilizers, paint, batteries, plumbing and ink. And the toxins in cosmetics, hair color, and pet products are equallyastoxic.
The good news is that there are natural steps you can taketo chelatetoxins from your body and your children's bodies. Chlorella is a great natural chelator. Whole body cleansing is anotherway to offset the damages of toxicity. Fresh cilantro has been shown to remove mercury from the body, and adding alkaline water to your diet is extremely beneficial,(visit

By removing the toxins from your body, you can improve your health in so many ways; heart health, weight issues, allergies, chronic pain, digestive problems, eye health and even your mood and energycan improve, with a simple detoxification protocol.(visit:

Maybe you can't fix all the pollution problems on the planet, but you can start in your ownhome, and even your neighborhood, by providing your family withnatural home products, clean air, alkaline water and organic food. And as we've also discussed in previous articles, addingnutritional supplements, and having a properly functioning nervous system is always necessary for you and your children to have optimum health, and be able to better cope in atoxic world.
