There is always competition between different consoles on the market. When Xbox Kinect was announced back in 2009, Sony fired back with the Playstation Move. The Playstation Move is Sony's take on virtual reality on the new console market. Much like the mechanics of the Wii, the Playstation Move uses a controller that is tracked by a sensor and converted into the game, simulating aiming, sword swinging, and other fun stuff! However, there are a couple of things that the Xbox Kinect has that the Playstation Move does not.

1. The Xbox Kinect does not require numerous controllers! This is a big selling point for buyers with large families. If you have 4 kids, just imagine them screaming for turns on the two controllers you bought? Sounds like a big pain to me. The Kinect identifies the players in front of the screen and tracks their individual moves. No controllers, just stand up and you're good to go!

2. The Xbox Kinect has face recognition software built in. This means that it can scan the player's face and know exactly which player you are. How cool is that? It feels like the game knows you, giving you a more immersive experience.

3. Compared to the Playstation Move and the Wii, the Kinect has very accurate motion sensing. This is great for those competitive games against your friends. They can't blame it on the Xbox; it was the player who wasn't aiming correctly!

These are definitely some things to take into account when looking for a new gaming console.
