What's The Best Sitcom

But of the long list of shows that have been created and marketed over the years

, what could be considered the very best? What does a person need to see if they truly want to be considered a plasma tv master? The below list can and will answer that question.

1. Futurama. Although the show is not live action, there is plenty of enjoyment to be found. The story revolves around a young man named Phillip J. Fry, who ends up hundreds of years in the future after accidentally being chronogenically frozen. Though he struggles to adjust to a strange new culture at first, he soon finds himself surrounded by a cast of fascinating characters. Leela, a one-eyed woman with an attitude, and Professor Farnsworth, an eccentric scientist and distant relative of Fry, are among them.

2. Roseanne. The daily struggles of a working class family would not normally be seen as a recipe for success, but Roseanne found it, regardless. Roseanne and her husband Dan may have trouble paying the bills, but their lives are not without excitement. With their three children, Darlene, Becky and DJ, along with a slew of interesting family members and friends, there is hardly a dull moment. The show lasted for roughly nine seasons, and although a movie or spinoff was never introduced, it continues to hold popularity to this day.

3. The Wonder Years. Although there were no hd tvs when this sitcom first aired, it still managed to win the hearts of the general public. Narrated by a grown up version of the main character, The Wonder Years focuses on a boy growing up in the 1960s. Though simple in premise, it seemed to work for the audience, thus its success. The actor who played the boy, Fred Savage, gave such an admirable performance that he even managed to receive a nomination for an Emmy. The category? Outstanding Lead Actor for a Comedy Series.

4. Are You Being Served? Another show that was not around to be watched on an lcd tv, yet still managed to hold its own, is Are You Being Served? Set in a department store called Grace Bros, the employees of the ladies and gents clothing floor managed to have their share of crazy situations. From staged weddings to having everyone dress in traditional German garb, there was nary a dull moment. From Mrs. Slocombe, an older woman who often changed her hair colour and worried about her cat, to Mr. Lucas, the snappy and sarcastic youngest employee, the cast had something to offer for everyone.
