I like to keep up to date with all the latest SEO or SEM services in the United Kingdom, and read posts from various forums and blogs every day. However, it occurred to me while reading today that the various SEO services or professionals, it becomes a bit blurry. What is it that SEO consultants are saying that we can offer services more in line with the search marketing or online marketing.

I wanted to take some time to explain the three areas in the traditional sense, is already trying to bring clarity cloudy industry. This hopefully should help those reading to know exactley what SEO services they receive and they are not.

Search engine optimization is traditionally associated with the page elements. Search engine optimization is concerned with making their web pages as search engine friendly as possible. Search engine optimization should also look at their website content to ensure the correct tags were used, ie. meta, css, h and alt tags of images. They may even go to keyword research and keyword weight to ensure pages are most effective.

Search marketing is a little different, and are more concerned about a page and the main issues of concern should be your links to web sites in the world. They should focus on the social bookmarking, article marketing, search engine submissions and directroy. All this is an attempt to attract more links, and thereby increase their page rank and index.

Internet marketing is more emphasis on business and explore your options, click releaces a PPC system and paid to the impact. They will try to build your business as a brand, as well as bumping you to the auction. They should be able to give advice on affiliate programs and e-mail marketing as well as to highlight other elements of online revenue could be used.

SEO services include all of the above but there are many companies that are only partially covered by the above, and therefore your results will be as deep. Always make sure you know what you get from online marketing package, and it will be very suspicious if the package is surprisingly cheap. Cheap packages are usually equivalent to a poor quality. All services will be a great investment and it is up to you to decide what is best for your business needs.
