What are Orangeries or conservatories and where is it found

It's a building which is found in the ground of some fashionable residences since 17th century. It's similar to a green house or a conservatory. The name green should ring a bell for some. For those who have no idea this place was used as a place to winter citrus trees. They are kept in such a room so that the frost won't damage the flowers and fruits of the tree. The origin of the concept was from Italy.

There are many famous conservatories in United Kingdom as well. They look absolutely marvelous regardless of the fact that there is no much work done to make it look beautiful. Many are there who utilize this place to spend there free time. Some have even stated that they use orangeries as a place to get together with friends. Since these buildings are located near to the garden it is always nice to spend some time when you are with your loved ones. These are mostly old buildings and cannot be called as houses. The reason being it's so huge in size. Those are the places where you will find orangeries.

In recent times it's been noted that in some parts of United Kingdom people are constructing new houses with orangeries in the old style. This is emerging as a trend in the field of construction. There are many who like to build there houses in the traditional way, the main constrain being the space consumption.
