The concept of graphic design is different from web programming. Here, the emphasis is more on the functional features of a web site, as well as imparting the web design as a kind of graphic design.

In general, web pages are classified as 2. Static pages such as an HTML page where content and layout is not changed unless a programmer manually updates the page and makes the changes. The role of end-user is of no consequence here.

3. Dynamic pages where the end-user has the freedom to alter the contents or layout using the tools provided to him. Client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, JScript, Actionscript, etc. are used to alter DOM elements.

The custom design also meets the appearance of the site and corresponds the way in which it presents before its visitor.
