What is Remis Power Systems doing to help you "Go Green"

?

Remis Power Systems, Inc. is a 30 year old family run business that focuses on renewable and recyclable energy, otherwise known as BATTERIES! They also sell Fitch Fuel Catalysts which refine your fuel (gasoline or diesel), in effect, making your all of your engines run more efficiently (better fuel mileage, longer running hours, and more horsepower). So how do batteries and Fitch help you "Go Green"? Let's take a look!

Batteries were reportedly invented by a gentleman named Alessandro Volta in 1800 when he created the first electrochemical battery cell. Since then, the use of batteries has become so much a part of our daily living that we hardly even notice to what extent. Watches, handheld devices, remotes, clocks, medical devices, and computers are just some of the devices that most of us could not (or wouldn't want to) live without. So why is this "green" technology? Well, some of these batteries are put into landfills and some are toxic and must be recycled properly. Remis Power Systems does their fair share of recycling lead acid batteries (automotive, marine, and industrial batteries) so there is a very minimal effect on the earth. In fact, when they send a semi load of scrap batteries to East Penn Manufacturing in Lyons Station, PA, the batteries are recycled 99.9%!

Here are the steps that each battery goes through to finish its life cycle:

Step 1: Used, worn-out batteries are collected by East Penn trucks as new batteries are delivered.

Step 2: Used batteries are stored inside waiting for processing.

Step 3: Used batteries are safely broken and separated into lead, sulfuric acid and plastic.

Step 4: Lead is safely reclaimed in our secondary smelter and refinery with no harmful emissions.

Step 5: Sulfur fumes are trapped and processed into liquid fertilizer.

Step 6: Sulfuric acid is reclaimed in the industry's first acid reclamation plant under a patented process.

Step 7: Used plastic is reclaimed and molded into new parts for batteries and accessories.

Step 8: Reclaimed lead, plastic and sulfuric acid are used in the production of all types of new batteries and accessories.

Pretty cool, huh!

Now, let's look at how you can "Go Green" with Fitch Fuel Catalysts! Everyone seems concerned with how much fuel we are using (burning up our earth's natural resources), and we are continuously trying to find ways to conserve. One way is by installing a Fitch Fuel Catalyst (which can be purchased online at http://www.remispowersystems.com ) in any vehicle or piece of equipment that uses gas or diesel fuel.

According to Advanced Power Systems (the makers of Fitch) the Fitch works like this:

Refineries cannot remove many poorly performing molecules to make a more ideal fuel. In addition, once fuel leaves the refinery or is stored it is subject to attack by oxygen, ozone, and microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, and mold) that grow in the fuel. All these processes degrade the fuel to make a poorer product that prevents engines from performing at optimum levels. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst reformulates fuel prior to combustion on board the vehicle, preventing oxygen and most diseases from attacking the fuel and reversing any degradation that may have occurred prior to the fuel being introduced to the vehicle. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst assists the combustion process by insuring that fuel is highly uniform, potent, consistent, and stable.

According to the same website listed above, the benefits of installing a Fitch Fuel Catalyst are:

Improve the fuel economy

Improve the horsepower and torque

Reduce emissions

Less carbon deposits in the engine

Saves money

Permanently stabilizes fuel

Extends engine life

Less engine and fuel system maintenance

Allows the use of a lower octane fuel without sacrificing performance.

That all adds up to "Go Green"!
