Most of us in today's society tend to get laser eye surgery if we have some vision problems. This procedure is one of the greatest innovations in the history of human kind. It has been greatly improved and perfected since its first emergence in the last century. Especially, recent achievements in the field have made laser surgery much more accurate and effective.

Many of us who have received laser surgery have regained perfect vision- 20/20 vision. Though the success rate of the surgery is high, we still have to face some risks and complications. So, we must be attentive and consider any potential problems before the procedure. But, it is still the best and simplest way to rectify our vision errors.

Before the surgery, we will be given some numbing drops in our eyes. This is why we can not feel any pain during the whole procedure. When we heard of a noise, the procedure starts. And we can know everything happening onto us.

During the whole procedure, a laser will be used as scalpel, which will make a flap on the surface of our cornea. This sounds horrible, but not harmful. The flap will be pulled back and laser will be let in, and some extra corneal tissues will be removed by laser. After that, the flap will be put back to its original position. After the surgery, cornea will be the same as those healthy ones. Of course, our vision is bettered at the same time.

However, we should be attentive if we really decide to get laser surgery. It is a good idea to consult with eye doctor and other specialists before getting it. But this surgery is really nice and can bring us a lot of convenience and benefits.
